The Truth about Frank D'Angelo

DISCLAIMER: I DON'T CARE IF FRANK D'ANGELO COMES TO LONDON ENGLAND AND SUES ME. GO RIGHT AHEAD. RAPISTS LIKE FRANK D'ANGELO NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON AND I WILL NOT BE BULLIED BY A CRIMINAL.

CANADA - Named after a famous mafia kingpin, Frank D'Angelo is a Canadian entrepreneur and wannabe-singer who was charged in June 2007 with sexually assaulting and raping a young woman in a hotel room who at the time was barely more than a teenager.

50-year-old Frank D'Angelo was later acquitted in 2009 when the charges were suddenly dismissed by the judge after only 1 day in court. In front of cameras Frank D'Angelo was clearly smug and confident, according to both the Toronto Sun and the Toronto Star.

Justice John Hamilton in his statement declared that Frank D'Angelo was "probably guilty" but there wasn't enough evidence to convict him beyond a reasonable doubt, despite the young woman having a bruise on the back of her head where Frank D'Angelo had hit her and pulled her hair.

Less than a week later an Ontario Provincial Police surveillance squad following a corrupt cop took photos of Michael Rutigliano and the two crown attorneys from the sexual assault trial having dinner with Frank D'Angelo at Frank D'Angelo's private mafia-themed dinner club "Forget About It".

Frank D'Angelo doesn't deny having sex with the young woman. If anything he brags about it and insists it was consensual.

Why then was he having dinner with corrupt cop Michael Rutigliano and the two crown attorneys Richard Bennett and Domenic Basile? Did Frank D'Angelo bribe the people investigating and prosecuting the case?

Frank D'Angelo and Michael Rutigliano were then charged with conspiracy and obstruction of justice, namely tampering with his sexual assault case. The two crown attorneys were named as "unindicted co-conspirators" and suspended.

The Attorney General's office then had the option of appealing the sexual assault trial which had obviously been tampered with, but chose a "wait-and-see" approach because they wanted to see the results of the conspiracy and obstruction of justice charges.

Earlier during the trial, which only lasted 1 day...

The young woman's identity has been protected, but she testified that D'Angelo lured her back to his hotel claiming that he needed to get something from his room. He then ripped her clothes off and pulled her hair. "He started having sex with me...I was trying to stop him," she testified. Her words at the time was "Please, Frank, no, don't, stop."

But apparently what Frank D'Angelo claims to have heard was "Please Frank! No, don't stop!" and claims she was hitting on him. (Seriously, a girl in her early 20s hitting on a 50-year-old who is balding and overweight...?)

Frank D'Angelo must be one of the worst liars in history. His story is so bogus anyone can see through it.

After raping her Frank D'Angelo took a shower and the two left the hotel. He walked her to the parking lot and said: "What happens between us stays between us." in an effort to keep her silent.

She returned home and told two girlfriends D'Angelo had raped her. The following day she went to the police to file a complaint.

NOTE: Frank D'Angelo has known this girl since she was a child. She was the daughter of a friend. Apparently he waited until she was legally of age before robbing the cradle.

Frank D'Angelo's Steelback Brewery and D'Angelo Brands, Inc. collapsed amid $162 million in debt in 2007, and a lot of the money he received from investors disappeared. One could easily argue he is either an incompetent businessman or a fraud artist. The companies he owned were so ridiculously bankrupt he had to sell them to Barry Sherman (and family) to whom he owed $121 million in debts. For some silly reason they paid him an extra $8 million and kept him as a spokesman for D'Angelo Brands, Inc. He now promotes "Cheetah Power Surge" energy drinks.

UPDATE

Frank D'Angelo (and his lawyers) has been working to have blog websites remove all mention of his rape and sexual assault charges. One of the methods he has been using is making false Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) claims that the websites in question contain copyright infringement. He also threatened to sue the Lilith News blog in 2010, but as far as I can tell he never even sent in the paperwork because he is too afraid of bad press.

This is not the first time Frank D'Angelo has bullied bloggers. In 2007 he launched a $2 million libel suit against blogger Neate Sager who called Frank D'Angelo a "huckster" and a "two-bit shyster". Sager was forced to issue an apology, but the bad press led to at least 1,610 websites about the issue. See Frank D'Angelo & Neate Sager.

I've got some more words to describe Frank D'Angelo: He's a fat, balding rapist who steals from people, commits fraud and bribes prosecutors.

Frank D'Angelo deserves to be in prison. The only reason he isn't in prison is because the Canadian legal system is broken and the Attorney General's office decided not to appeal.

And if Frank D'Angelo wants to come over to England and sue me, fine, do it. I dare you to do it.
